| 01/05/10 | MAN! Long time no ting. Many reasons for this, none of which are particularly interesting, so I'll spare you the bullshit. On the Jeeps front, I basically got a bit tipsy at the Trinity gig, William punched me in the face, and I accidently fired the drummer. So we played the Bull & Gate show the other day as an acoustic act with Roxy Rawson on violin & a percussionist called Kevin. It was really enjoyable - there's a video of it floating about somewhere, I'll get a tune online in the next days. Tomorrow morning I return to Uxbridge, and my long abandoned piano. Once I finish the MLTT album I'll really start pushing the Tea Tone thing. I know, it's taking forever.. |
| 02/04/10 | While in New York I did some shows with the fantastic & original Albert Goold. He's given us this great new song to distribute via Tea Tone, download it here for free & visit him at Albert Goold for more great tunes: |
| 01/04/10 | I've been in New York the past few weeks, but intend to pick up where I left off by getting more material on here & promoting the releases. Loads of ideas in the pipeline, it's just a case of keep on keeping on & we'll see what becomes of all this. Much more soon x |
| 10/03/10 | Yay, it's done, it's completed, it's here - Groke's amazing new EP: Free to download by clicking on the cover above, all donations go directly to Groke! |
| 08/03/10 | So what now, peepsicles? I was arootin' through some old files the other day & found a great live recording of Lars Koch performing after hours from the cellar of a (quite literally) upside-down French bar in Berlin called Madame Claude. Also on the player now is a sample track from the recent William Nein recordings here: |
| 04/03/10 | Good golly gosh, it's been a busy couple of weeks at Glendale & beyond. We finished the Groke Beer & Beer EP today, layering violins & harmonies etc. Meanwhile William Nein's forthcoming album for Tea Tone is also nearing completion, and already sounding wonderful. I've been back in the studio with Jeeps, and me & William played the Chesham Tudor Folk Club the other day.. Average audience age was about 70; it was a really special evening, and we were pleased that they enjoyed our performance! |
